Each year, we strive to provide valuable educational sessions to our attendees at RMUC. From in-depth how-tos of key Rent Manager concepts to discussions on the latest advancements in property management technology, our attendees love getting to learn and connect in person. This is a trend that extends across all industries—a recent study found that 70% of respondents report that in-person events provide the best training and professional content. So, for RMUC.26, we used past attendee feedback to completely revamp our breakout sessions and improve the overall educational impact of RMUC.
Sessions have now been categorized into five session “types,” which show attendees at a glance the content and skill level of the presentation. This new system allows attendees to better organize their conference itinerary and get the most out of their learning opportunities while at RMUC. Here’s a quick breakdown of those new session types, a highlight of can’t-miss sessions on our schedule this year, and even more educational opportunities you can expect at RMUC.26.
101 Sessions
101 sessions are foundational, introductory walkthroughs designed for users who are new to a feature or need a comprehensive refresher. Just as 101 university courses provide a “ground-up” baseline knowledge of a topic, RMUC 101 sessions cover setup and basic day-to-day usage of key aspects of Rent Manager.
Notable 101 Sessions:
Scripting 101 – An approachable, welcoming session that covers the basics of Rent Manager’s command-based, read-only language known as scripting. This language allows users to customize the output of letters, reports, fee calculations, and more.

This session provides the foundational knowledge needed to implement this key tool, including how to customize and implement workflows that comply with specific local and state laws and move through each step of the eviction life cycle with ease.
