Personal health has been at the forefront of everyone’s minds for the past few years. But for healthy habits to be truly effective, you can’t just practice them at home. To recognize the importance of our employees’ health and well-being, we are highlighting ways our LCS team practices healthy habits during the workday—whether at the office or working from home.


Mental Health Weeks


In observation of Mental Health Awareness Month earlier this year, our Events Committee put together a series of daily activities for employees to explore their individual well-being and support each other’s mental wellness. Each day was centered on a different theme, with activities that enlightened and affirmed our team’s emotional health. Employees could choose between guided meditations, yoga workouts, and other physical and mental exercises to complete. For each day of participation, employees were entered in a raffle to win a $75 gift card that could be used on a mental health activity of their choosing.


365 Ways to Embrace Health with Go365


All employees enrolled in our benefits plan are eligible to join our free Go365 program. Using this app, members can compete against their coworkers in virtual exercise challenges, find and log workouts, and participate in health-related activities such as wellness visits with their doctor or giving blood—all of which earn them points that help lower the cost of their healthcare. Healthy activities also earn users points that can be redeemed for gift cards, apparel, and more.


Healthy is a Lifestyle


Beyond our larger initiatives, LCS offers everyday ways to prioritize your health, including:

  • Hosting monthly “Walking Wednesday” challenges designed to encourage everyone to walk during their lunch break
  • Hydration stations throughout the building
  • An on-site gym that is open 24 hours, 7 days a week
  • Several walking paths throughout LCS’ campus
  • On-site biometric screenings and flu shots


We spend a lot of time at work. So, it’s important that we fit in healthy lifestyle activities into our workday like walking outside, fitness challenges, meditation practices, and more. Being a successful employee also means being healthy and happy, which is why LCS places such an emphasis on providing health-conscious options year-round.
