10 Years at the Office – Happy Anniversary to LCS’ Headquarters
Summer is always a busy and exciting time at LCS. Not only do we have a jam-packed schedule of incredible...

For nearly two decades, the Rent Manager User Conference has provided something to the property management industry that is becoming increasingly rare in the modern, digitally dominated workplace:
A sense of community.
According to a recent Bizzabo report, 82% of event attendees prefer in-person events over webinars or other online options. While online events can reduce costs and increase accessibility, after years of scaling back in-person connections in favor of digital solutions, it’s clear there’s an irreplaceable value in coming together face-to-face. At RMUC, the LCS and Rent Manager team strives to take things one step further—we want our event to foster a sense of belonging, connection, and community among our attendees.
So, as we prepare for RMUC.26 in San Antonio, Texas, this fall, we wanted to take a closer look at the community impact of RMUC and why it’s become so important to our customers, partners, and team.
The primary focus of the RMUC experience is in-person training and education for Rent Manager customers. Not only can attendees meet with Rent Manager Support in person throughout the week for even more hands-on education and assistance, but many of the breakout sessions are formatted as educational “how-to” courses covering key aspects of the software. Attendees learn workflows, customization options, and time-saving automations, and they can even enroll in a full-day Bootcamp session to dive even deeper on the first day of the conference.
For RMUC.26, the educational value of the sessions is further enhanced by an updated categorization system. Attendees will be able to see at a glance whether a session is a good fit for their skill level and curate their itinerary based on their specific needs and interests. For example, new users will benefit most from 101 sessions or Tips and Tricks classes, while more seasoned users can gain a deeper understanding of Rent Manager in Solutions or Best Practice sessions.
Both new and veteran attendees consistently praise how much they take away from RMUC sessions and how they leave the conference excited to implement what they’ve learned back home. Here’s a small sample of attendee quotes from last year’s conference about the unique learning opportunities at RMUC:
Rent Manager customers aren’t the only ones who benefit from the sense of community at RMUC. Through the robust Rent Manager Integrations program, many of our software partners serve as conference sponsors and travel to RMUC to connect in person with our customers and staff. Within Innovation Hall, attendees browse sponsor booths, learn how each sponsor’s integration with Rent Manager can help improve their workflows, and build their portfolio of industry connections. Sponsor partners also have the opportunity to participate in panel discussions or present informational sessions during the week.
Since RMUC began offering sponsorships to partner organizations in 2011, the roster has grown exponentially. Even within the last five years, RMUC has expanded from 52 sponsors in 2021 to 87 in 2025—and the benefits for the organizations are clear. Our partners love the community, energy, and opportunity that each conference brings and look forward to coming back year after year. It’s the perfect example of the unique, symbiotic relationships present within the PropTech industry.
What sets RMUC apart from other corporate events is the balance it strikes between high-impact education and fun. Attendees are invited to relax and connect with one another during several social events throughout the conference, including the Opening Reception, Premier Social Event, and Innovation Hall Power Hour.
At these gatherings, RMUC provides entertainment, immerses attendees in the beauty of the host location, and creates memorable moments for them to mingle and build professional relationships that will last beyond conference week. The Premier Social Event is a highlight of many attendees’ RMUC experience, with past events taking place on a historic aircraft carrier in San Diego, an MLB stadium replica in Palm Springs, and Universal’s CityWalk in Orlando. For busy property management professionals, RMUC’s social events offer a chance to escape the routine of the typical workday, allowing them to return to the office relaxed, recharged, and ready to build upon the connections they made at RMUC.
But networking at RMUC doesn’t stop at the social events. Through meals, panel discussions, and attendee lounge spaces, attendees are encouraged throughout the week to strike up conversations with their peers, sponsors, and LCS/Rent Manager staff. Many long-time attendees report forming lasting friendships that began at RMUC, like this attendee from RMUC.25:
From its humble beginnings as a small gathering in Florence, Indiana, the Rent Manager User Conference has hosted bigger and bigger events all across the country. From Orlando to San Diego, Las Vegas to Dallas, RMUC makes it a point to connect with Rent Manager customers in their own backyards—and give back to our host communities at the same time. Each year, RMUC partners with a local charitable organization and donates all sales from attendee purchases of Rent Manager-branded merchandise. Past partner organizations have included the Salvation Army, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Operation Homefront, and more, with regular donations averaging over $15,000 over the past five years.
In 2025, RMUC took it a step further by hosting a volunteer event for Habitat for Humanity during the conference. Volunteers helped representatives from Habitat for Humanity assemble and decorate children’s playhouses that were donated to local families in need and child development centers. The volunteer event received substantial positive feedback from attendees, and when combined with merchandise sales, the total donation to Habitat for Humanity exceeded $48,000.
Our commitment to giving back to the communities we serve won’t stop there. For RMUC.26, we’re partnering with the TPC San Antonio championship golf course to host a charity golf invitational called Fairways Fore a Cause. With this event, we hope to shatter our 2025 donation record to benefit this year’s partner organization, the Children’s Miracle Network, while giving our attendees the chance to create even more incredible memories.
When we compile attendee feedback each year, a clear pattern emerges—customers come to RMUC for the Rent Manager insights, knowledge, and value our team provides, and they keep coming back for the infectious energy of the Rent Manager community that can’t be replicated behind a screen. Our team is always humbled and inspired by our users’ dedication to our software and our conference, and we look forward to seeing our hard work pay off in the form of happy, engaged attendees year after year.
