Building Strong Online Connections
At LCS, our Website Designers/Developers frequently work with customers of our property management software, Rent Manager, to build websites that seamlessly integrate with their Rent Manager databases. This allows property managers to display property and unit availability directly on their sites, enhancing the resident experience.
“Our team works on a variety of projects,” says Website Designer/Developer Marty Beaugard. “We have RM Web Pro, which is themes that our team has built… [and] we have our custom websites, which is custom [built] from the ground up. Generally, we’re assigned a project, work with the client, and once the project is ready to go, we take that website live for them.”
A Typical Day for an LCS Website Designer/Developer
For our employees, every day consists of focused project work alongside communication with clients and team members. “In the morning, we’ll have a team meeting, and then in the afternoon I usually work on custom sites, integrations, [and] whatever the customer needs,” says Web Designer/Developer II Sarah Bode. She also keeps a close eye on her emails throughout the day, ensuring any client questions or website needs are promptly addressed before she digs back into her tasks.
For Beaugard, he says his day-to-day varies, which is “one thing I do like a lot about my role.” He organizes his schedule around client calls and the needs of ongoing projects, often switching between different tasks. “Some days, I’ll work on a project for the entire day; other days, I’ll work on one project in the morning and one project in the afternoon, so it really just kind of varies.”
